The Duchess Club Travel wing is an initiative taken by the organizers to expose, explore and evolve their members to different cultures and lifestyles of the world. The travel was inaugurated in August 2008.
We have so far travelled to Mauritious, Cambodia, Thailand & Kanchna buri, The Rainforest Music festival at Sarawak ( East Malaysia ) , Bali, The spectacular South Africa (National Park) and the plan for 2009 are cherry Blossoms in Japan (March), Turkey & Greece in (July) and south of New Zealand and Australia (December).
The group meets every quarterly to review through and exotic destinations with a guest speaker. These meetings help in sustaining the common desire among the travelers and encourage more ladies to join in.
This year 2009, has certainly been very busy for us. The following trips were conducted this year.
1 Viewing cherry blossoms in Japan (March – April 2009)
2 Virgo Cruise & Longkauvi and Phuket (Aug 2009)
3 Experience the hills in Sikkim (Sep 2009)
4 Going on the Greek Cruiseliner – Aquamarine – early December – Cruise between Cochin and Maldives
